I've heard they should be 4+ inches and the bigger they are the "easier" it is.

How old do they have to be before trying to sex them?  Two years?  More?

Seriously I might be a little "special" when it comes to venting frontosa.  I've read all there is to read, I just can't seem to figure it out.  I've tried on two different occasions, but I'm still clueless.  If there's anyone willing to show me how I'd be grateful.  I'd be willing to come out and see your fish, or you could show me on mine.  Any takers...

Your saying lasik helps your long distance but messes with your short? I have glasses and can't complain. I know this isn't a link that shows fronts I think it still will help a bit in venting them.

You probably already took a crack at venting your fronts but here is another link with a good comparison of male and female fronts.
