That sounds great! How do the females look? Do you have pictures? I'm very interested.

I have Cynotilapia afra "cobue" and I've found that they are less aggressive, in general, than many Pseudotropheus and Labeotrophus, for example, in community tanks. In fact, I have a 70 g with a mix of the afras, Pseudotropheus flavus, Melanochromis labrossus, two Otopharynx lithobates and a few random fry that has been working out incredible! It's my favorite malawi tank...mostly because I don't have to worry about the fix beating the snot out of eachother like I do with my other malawi community tank.
Just my experience, though.

hello again...
Does anyone know about the "Cynotilapia afra (Lupingu)"? All I found was this site: http://www.cichlid-forum.com/profiles/species.php?id=1736
They look like demasoni and stay small but it says they are not too agressive.. maybe I can get these instead of the demasoni. Does anyone keep these fish and know more about them?
thanks
