I pre-ordered some for the swap, I'd like to give them a try, they look awesome. Have a 120 to put them in.
How do they act in the tank?

As far as I know - there are no albino forms out there. The pink in the eye can easily be from light reflection within the eye itself. These fish do go 'pale' quite a bit, even the big adults do it from time to time. Coloring will come with maturity and dominance.

oh ok..mine are about 2.5" now and piggin out big time on spirulina flakes and NLS. heres another question..i dont know if there are regular forms and albino forms or not but the fish in my colony are pale white-ish with a hint of orange-ish gold around the head and gill area. my tank has dim light so i used a flashlight to shine into their eyes. theres a few with pink eyes and a few with black eyes. are there 2 different forms of these guys then? hope i didnt confuse you guys.

I have some as well.
As you may have noticed in Spyders post, these are officially now classified as Metriaclima.
