There is always the possibility of mouthbrooding cichlids to crossbreed. The chance is lowered by stocking several females per male of each species and having an appropiate sized tank to allow for several territories. A Eureka is part of the Jacobfreibergi complex and more aggressive than say a 'stuartgranti' 'maylandia.' If he becomes the dominant fish in the tank, he may very well breed with anything that's available.

Nope, They won't crossbreed. Only real issue you might see is labidochromis can get a little nippy, if the peacock isn't on the bigger side they may start picking at his fins. Food differences as long as you feed a decent quality food without too many fillers and a mid level amount of protein, you shouldn't see a problem diet wise either with labidochromis being more of an omnivore than many mbuna.

They won't interbreed will they? I just bought a male Eureka at the swap meet and never thought to ask.
Thanks
