Curious to know where Keggerland is in Woodridge. I cannot find them online.

I dont see why our opinions on the stores would be discouraged, especially if it's things like "not a huge selection of fish here" for a store that mostly has dry goods. As long as it's factual, i dont see why GCCA would have an issue w/ it.
Either way, I'd like this to at least point out where these petshops are so that people are aware of them. I hate to see the small petshops go out of business like they did in Schaumburg.

I dont think the GCCA wants to get into critizing any of the local petstores

Suggestions for this thread - keep it positive, focus on what the petstore has or does not have. You can say a lot by not saying something as well.

Good example John Doe's petstore - lots of nice cichlids often they have electric blue rams. A good place to pick up fish during there yearly sales event

Jane Does petstore - has lots of common fish but little in the way cichlids.

A Pig and a Chicken are walking down the road. The Chicken says, "Pig, I was thinking we should open a restaurant!". Pig replies, "What would we call it?". The Chicken responds, "How about ham-n-eggs?" The Pig thinks for a moment and says, No thanks. I'd...

In my area (Schaumburg) a couple of really great petstores just went out of business. I keep hearing about other petstores opening and I haven't found a place where there's a comprehensive list that also has reviews on their fish selection.

How about we post one here? List: Store Name, City, and a short review on what they stock. The idea is that someone can come see this thread and find any local petshops without looking all over the internet/phone book.

I'll start:

Aquarium Adventure - Schaumburg - This is a huge store that has salt and freshwater fish selection. Their cichlid selection is pretty good, .

Rainbow Pets - Schaumburg - This was a great Mom&Pop store that had a great african cichlid selection, but recently went out of business and is closed permanently :(

Wet Pets n' Friends - Schaumburg - This store was small but had a reasonable selection of fish. They've relocated to another town.
