Definitely not a pure Sciaenochromis fryeri. The barring and coloration as well as cranial profile is wrong it looks like a hybrid between a Sciaenochromis and a Aulonocara peacock.

It would help if you could get some clearer lateral shots. Fish one looks like a hybrid to me between a Sciaenochromis fryeri (Electric Blue Cichlid) and an Aulonocara (peacock). It is a fairly common hybrid, especially from some of the big box stores like petco and petsmart. The second fish is tough to tell. If it is a female and stays gray, it will be almost impossible to identify. If it colors up, it might be ID able.

They look like Aulonocara / Peacocks and the top one is a male.
The bottom one is a subdominant male or female.
