A few weeks ago I got in two trios of Copadichromis trewavasae Mloto Fire Line. Unfortunately the males didn't care for each other and I was left with a quad in short order. (The male that as killed has under some stress from getting bounced around traveling for a weekend). So I ended up setting up the group of fish in a 75 gallon tank wth silica sand and two small piles of stone at each end of the tank. With in a few days of the decorations going into the tank one of the females was holding! Here are some pictures I took today of the male and the brooding female. It's amazing to see the variation in color that the male has as well as the size difference in spots from female to female. The female has been brooding for about a week now. I plan to strip here later this week or weekend.
