I'll just let her hold longer in the main tank before trying to strip or insolate her.

Looks like the isolation tank was to small?
She is no longer holding anything be it fry or eggs.
Should the isolation tank be in a quite location? It is currently in the main tank and has a lot of action going on arond it. I will post pics. soon to show how it is set up.
Does a nursery tank need any decor. or is bare bottom better?
Sorry for all the Q's. Thanks in advance.

She'll hold about 17 days. My one lab will hold for 20 plus if I let her. I usually strip around day 12 or 13 as they are fry with egg sacs by then.

10-4.
I do not have a tumbler. I was thinking the best thing might be to isolate her and let her carry the eggs for a few more days. When do Labs fry hatch? She has been holding since Sunday, but I saw a lot of bredding activity last night, and this morning she looks a lot fuller in the mouth. Would breeding last for a few days? Wouldn't that mean she will potentially be carring fry and eggs at the same time?

That depends
if you want to strip her do you have a tumbler ready for the eggs?
if not then if you reall want the fry for a BAP then a seperate tank where she can carry to term and then release on her own would be recomended

Yellow Lab strip or not? was created by Muske
I'm filling out my membership as we speak and thinking about entering the world of BAP...
I have Yellow Compressicep fry ATM and a Yellow Lab that is holding. My question is should I strip her or place her in another tank?
I never had since I just let the other tankmates eat the eggs and/or fry. I was watching my male Black Calvus pick off eggs as she laid them before the male did his thing. I am sure she has plenty of fertilized eggs from Sunday night, but she will eat them or spit them due to stress from the other tankmates in a few days.
Do I put her in another tank or tumbler?
