If you want Loach suggestions, depending on the Tank, a nice show male tank? Clowns are great. I use tougher loaches when I kept Africans, (Mbuna, Tangs you need a more mellow Loach) Like, Modestas, and Skunks...2 of the tougher loaches around.

Are you asking in general,  or just for loach suggestions?

If loaches,  clown loaches are readily available,  very durable and do a great job at cleaning the bottom.  They also will not harass the fish.....BUT....they will eat fry that they come across.

If in general,  go with some bristlenose plecos.  They don't bother anyone and are excellent cleaners!
