They breed very easily if maintained well. I'd leave her alone and try and catch her in a few weeks.

Mike, mine are also from Pete. Picked up a group of five at one of our rare fish auctions. They are a delayed mouth brooder, and she is DEFINITELY holding. I didn't see the spawning activity, but she's holding for sure. Fed some flake and she bumped the larger pieces, but very carefully took some smaller pieces in.
Now the tough part. She's very small. 2" maybe. I'm guessing the fry are very small as well. I'd like to separate her, but fear stressing her out too much. She's in a 75 with four of her kind, and two chocolates that are maybe 3 and 4". I think she has plenty of "get away" space, and places to hide, or spit occasionally and still be protected. What do you think? Remove her? Leave her? I could, VERY short term remove everyone else if needed, but that's a PITA, and I'm afraid chasing everyone around would stress her as well.

By at least one - I recorded a spawn in 2006. AKA Inca Stone Fish.
Pete Durkin had them in back then. Looks a lot like an acara. i think they are a delayed mouthbrooder, but I could be wrong.
