I assume you are in the Chicago area? I am in MN, but I know of someone that may be able to pick some up from you and bring them to me. I'd love some of those convicts. Been wanting some since I first saw postings around the web about them.

Thank you for responding so fast. I'll connect with you soon. When is the meeting?

Nice! He's starting to look chunky just like his grandfather. I just got another spawn from one of the two wild pairs I still have. Great fish.

I have a confession. I'm a cichlaholic.

A Pig and a Chicken are walking down the road. The Chicken says, "Pig, I was thinking we should open a restaurant!". Pig replies, "What would we call it?". The Chicken responds, "How about ham-n-eggs?" The Pig thinks for a moment and says, No thanks. I'd...

Interesting behavior - the tank i used to put the Amatitliana Siquia in was used for breeding shell dwellers before.

Well I came home today and went to check on the fry and could not see a single one in the females cave.

I am thinking ok thats strange, I had given them up as gone and I noticed the female was hovering on top of a few shells.

Well I put my head over the tank so I can look down and she had placed all the fry in a upside down shell.

Do they qualify as a central american shell dweller (just joking, before we see them marketed as such).

Well a few hours later I am feeding them I see her messing around in the flower pot and there are wigglers all over the ground inside the flower pot.

They were probably on the ground and I never saw them.

So she spawned already pretty cool -
