A rather large amount of eggs are in "the pot" - those cold water changes on Saturdays really trigger the Sunday spawns.

Very nice devils! I hate to sound like a broken record Scott, but I could use a sample. I don't have a sample of A. labiatus yet.

I used the last of my container of alcohol and I'm out of the labels as well.  But I'm putting in the mail today a vial of 4 free swimmers taken today, 3/13, or three days free swimming.  Let me know if you need more info, or more of this species.  Maybe your dad can bring some more supplies tonight or next month's mtg.

Al - Good idea - I will follow your suggestion, since I have one batch to raise up separately

Scott this pair takes very good care of their fry, the next time I would leave the fry in with the parents for a couple of weeks before removing them.

Excellent! The beady eyes and the Dr.Honeydew Glasses must make it hard to see!

I saw two swimmers at 12:00 noon (working from home today).  I'll assess again tonight and tomorrow.

Update - as of 8:30p-about 75 swimmers are evident.

Thanks!.  The fry did not take well to the switch to the 10g. Still on the lookout for swimmers.
