Definitely looks like a short bodied hybrid of a texas and maybe a blood parrot. Often have a lot of health problems. People need to stop trying to make all these ridiculous hybrids.

Looks like some sort of carpintis hybrid. Like Texas crossed with a Blood Parrot. It is probably somebody's Red Texas project reject. Hope this helps....

can anyone tell me what this hybrid fish is?
I bought it from seller on Craig's last night in Hampshire,IL. for $15.
Its about 4 inches long, has purple blueish color body, and some spots near tail.
here's the pic.
It would be greatly appreciated!
