Rusties are great looking fish..I had a Electric Blue that was getting it's *** kicked and was close to death with badly torn fins ..put him in his own 10g with a little salt and meth. blue and in 1 month or so was back better than ever ..It's now one of the best I've ever seen, bought him 4 girls put him in with them in bigger tank and he bred and stays colorful all the time!! Good Luck

Defiantly don't want to flush him. He's a great looking fish just a wimp. LOL I'm moving some stock around so maybe I'll be able to drop him into a 55 gal. with some growouts. Thanks wanted to post before making the move.

I don't think it would be fair to the bidder if he found out after he bought it it was beat up...auctioneers usually look at fish before bidding starts and will turn down beat up or sick fish and give it back to seller..best to give away, nurse back to health or flush :'(..maybe a breeder pen hanging in your tank to get him back then sell or whatever.....just my 2 cents

I have a male rusty cichlid that is getting badly bullied around. Was wondering if a fish like this would be ok to put into the auction as I feel bad for him in my tank and don't have another tank to put him in. He's a little beat up thats what I was wondering.
