no problem, sounds like your next tank should be about a 300 gallon but make sure it's an 8 footer (the pup will still need the exercise room) ;D

And let me just ask this ....Does anyone have any particular books that they would recommend for newbies??? I have found a great deal of info through this site as well as a few others, but I don't have internet acces at work and to trying to go through everything in here on a blackberry is a drag. Plus I think I went crosseyed at about 7 this morning(not bad considering I spent the night reading old threads on a 2.5' screen!!!LOL)

we call it MTS (Multiple Tank Syndrome)
it's impossible to cure (unless you have a sig. other to stop it) ;D

My name is John and I am from the Plainfield/Joliet area. I am relative new to the fish kingdom , but am quickly becoming addicted. I started with a 10 gallon tank with a few guppies and the like about 2 years ago. Recently, I upgraded my community tank to a 46 gallon that is home to glassfish, mollies, chinese algae eaters, a few pictus cats(rescued from a foolish friend that put them in with red devils and blood parrots) and my favorite in the tank my little "mini crab".
Well, as all of you have felt this too, I have just purchased another tank(50G) that I fully intend on doing right with Malawis. This is what brings me to the GCCA world....looking for experienced people with the desire to share what they have learned!!!
