milwaukee auction

The last auction had about 12-15 tables full of bags of fish stacked 3 tables high, (the Burnham bowl is not very large, but a wecome + is that it has inexpensive beer and burgers)
same type rectangular tables as gcca uses.
I'd guess +/- 50% of the fish sold were cichlids (over 50% of that African), lots of plants too. Milwaukee has a couple rare live bearer breeders and some killy people that are usually represented.
Depends (obviously)on what people are breeding at the time, but I've seen addresses on bags from Madison, Grn Bay, etc.
Like Jeff said, ends earlier than gcca events usually @ 5, so best to get there early, especially if your bringing fish.
Burnham bowl is smack dab in the middle of Milwaukee.
They might even have some of those pink and yellow thonged guppies Chris is looking for.

Can vendors get tables or are the only tables with products for donations?

Radek,

The club is selling the drygoods, not any individuals.  The items are all new and provided through a local wholesaler.  All the drygoods are sold at a set marked price.  Any unsold items are returned to the wholesaler.  No drygoods are auctioned off-donation or otherwise.

MAS has a swap in May.  It's a much smaller venue then the GCCA swap, but it's growing.

Too many fish?  Never.  Not enough tanks?  Always!

If I could only get him to dribble lefty.......

this worked for my kid back at that age maybe it will work for yours, have him take a rag and roll it up and stick it in his right armpit and tell him to dribble only with his left hand, if the rag falls out and hit the floor he cheated and start over again, eventually the only time he'll ever need that rag once he's mastered it is to wipe the sweat off the opponents brow trying to track him down on the court, believe it or not it forces them to focuse on only using the 1 hand and turns it into a real challenge for them that they don't want to lose
