April 17th swap - Whaddidya bring home???
Wish I could have made it. Steve is definately hitting his stride as swap king, given how he has to deal with hotel closings and certain space requirements. Many thanks to him and and his consistent crew of volunteers for making these events happen.
Yup, it's great to be king, all I do is call queen Liz and tell her to quit doin stuff for the grandkid's wedding and have her make a call to the chicago hotel assc. and she just tells them what we want and they just jump on it and get it done so I can still get my afternoon naps
Even though this one was longest drive for me so far, I like it because there was so many new people that I newer saw before. Maybe we should mix revenues, so that way we can come closer to all the fish keepers throughout the Chicago land.
So I say to her……There is plenty of stuff at the house for the baby to eat!!!! I REALLY need this fish……
Resisted lots of urges and only came home with 5 bags of F1 syno. petricola from John Oyer. Thanks John!
I also sent my 6 year old over to Rick Perez's table to buy himself a Betta and he came back with 4! One for each of the kids in the house. Thanks Rick!!!
I had thought this swap might be poorly attended due to the small venue and fewer vendors but I'm happy to say I was wrong!
GREAT JOB to Kegger and crew! It was a very well run event.
We appreciate all you do and all the grief you take to put on a great swap!!!!!!!!
