Probably doesn't make a ton of difference but wouldn't the heat be more evenly distributed if the heaters were spaced?
Yeah it would. I will eventually plumb the tank to a sump below, which will house the heaters. That' why there is a heater clump.

Moved around some rock, added some sand and fish. Again for size, the sponges are all hydro IVs and the heater tangle on the right are all 150w.

Just so everyone knows, the pic doesn't do this tank justice. I've seen it in person. It's a BEAST!!! Glad to see it going up Aaron. Keep us posted.
Yeah, for reference the tank below is a 65g breeder (48" x 18" x 18"). The 330g is 74" x 30" x 30".

Inhabitants are a group of bristlenose plecos, 10 boops, 5 julies, 3 comps. I am going to add more comps in the very near future. I need to wait for them to get their color back, so I can be choosy. They didn't appreciate the tank reorg and losing all of their rock work. Plan to add some cyps in the not too distant future as well.
Also, the rock work isn't finalized, i just got it all in there.
