Was he the original source of these?  Sounds familiar.

I found a 2008 order list to Ken Davis. These 2 came from him.

There is a guy on aquabid selling red Isletas and also calling it CRRHead.

Thats probably not good lol. Atleast mine was a mistake on my part and not the seller.

I did run across them being mentioned in the Citranellum section on fishprofiles.com. But i know 1 of the writers on that topic and don't think he knows as much as he thinks.

Heres a funny story about these. When I bought the male I had thought C.R.R.F. Midas was a another name for Red Isletas lol. So I had actually got him by mistake. I had posted something along those lines and nuth one day goes "Hey Bro, those aren't the same thing". (I am adlibing) I was disappointed at first, but not so much anymore lol. To be honest when I do a computer search the only ones that come up are mine. I am still curious who all ended up with these. There is no way I am the only person with these.

He's not quite as gold as he looks in these pics. They are on the darker side of the tank and the camera doesn't pic up their coloration very well. I actually don't like these pics cause I think it makes the water look yellowish when its not.

Nice one.  Looks just like my flaveolus female, with exception of the trailers.  Nice fish.

Amphilophus Costa Rican Red Face Midas. I am almost positive the male is F1 and I thought female was also but I could be wrong about that. Either way this my 8 inch male Costa Rican Red Face. Digital camera sux, but first pic represents his color the best. Female is identical to him.
