thats too bad mike, like you said im sure you will be back, as for that easement i fight with residents all the time regarding this, you dont own the easement and cant do what you want on it hahahaha but if you dont mess up the drainage i won't complain.....hopefully your neighbors won't either....

LOL, I enjoyed your last sentence.

I too totally understand when life demands make the hobby "work" and not as enjoyable.  I'll have fish for you when you're ready and I'll be in touch from time-to-time.  I as club member and friend really appreciate your contributions over the years and the many laughs.  Good luck and enjoy your vacation from the hobby!!

Stunning how quickly things have gone - I am down to a backup power supply, 2 75 gallon tanks with a stand and my sump with sump pump that I used to empty the old tanks.  While I love the free time, I figure someday i will be back into fish.  A couple of years off will do me good.

Burned out?  Yeah, thats about it.  I spent 3 hours at a warehouse today loading tanks (big and small) that i sold.  No more acrylic tanks, once he comes back for the second load. I found my old wallet from 4 or 5 years ago under a stack of junk.  There was $300 in the wallet, which I thought was pretty cool.  Of course i wasnt supposed to lift heavy stuff after my knee surgery - no wonder it is killing me this evening.

Between selling my fish room and emptying the storage room at my buddies warehouse, i pocketed a very nice chunk of $.  Seriously, i am pretty well screwed when my wife finds out how much $ was sitting in fish stuff.  Oh well at least i converted the big acrylics into $.  Those have been sitting there waiting for me to sell them since 2007 or 2008.

To my friends in the club - your'e still my buddies.  If you're not my friend remember, you don't need to be friends with everyone, but you do need to be friendly.  I really do try to live by that even when i am being a bit prickly.

To club officers (current and past) - especially Rebecca and Sam (ex officer) - did a great job keeping it running smoothly.  To those who wish to run next time, remember the words of a former president - if it is in the best interests of the club, then do it.  I would add - run for an office cause you want to serve, not lead.

Best wishes, take care, and does anyone know if easement and set back regulations are impacted by installing a pond?  See I have this space in the back yeard by the fence line........
