What do you feed them? Any color enhancing food?

They are a line breed strain and do keep there color. The parents are about two years old now and are a bright orange is the best way to describe them.

Do the super reds keep their color or is it the result of feeding them color food.
I had Angels Plus Koi in a tank and I was routinely feeding them a color enhancing food. The 30 bristlenose fry turned almost as orange as an orange. Stunning. I wish it was a trait, but it diminished as soon as I moved them to another tank.
There are very few really red fish in the cichlid world. Of course, Red is used as a description a lot.
Good luck with them.
