Gentlemen & Ladies....
My watermelon...who is now 11.5" has developed a exceptional appetite (up to 11 NLS H2O wafers at a time..also using Algaemax by NLS ...appears to be excellent..readily consumed ) and has become much more active...hoovers in place..... all four bottom fines in motion at once.....for 20 minutes at a time and more
These are all new behaviors ...never seen before in any of my plecos...since I have been keeping the tank exceptionally clean and using more/more often new mechanical filtering media in the HOBS (2 being used) along with 2 powerheads on a UG and a xp3...water flow and CLEANS the word..tank turns over every 2 minutes or so
Also ..I'm altering temp. at water chances 8 plus degrees at changes of 30% and more H2O
I think this fish behavior is a big positive...any thoughts

Plecos come from an area where there are huge seasonal changes.
25% water changes that are similar to the water quality of the tank arent going to make anything happen.
Leave the tank alone, slowly raise the temp over a few weeks. no water changes. feed them lots of protein and veggies. Frozen shrimp, bloodworms, etc.
Then do a big water change - 50% aged water. better yet - 50% rain water.
Mimic nature.

Have done bloodworms for sometime....
will continue the 25% WC's that were in effect when this 1st happened
They inhale NLS bottom feeder tabs 4-5 per pleco!!!!

Sportfans.....
I would say the activity level described above is a up and down thing....
Any idea what would be advisable to promote the previous AMORE situation...
Nothing negative is going on but I'd like a bit more positive action......
