Ill keep that in mind.
But i am scared the goby might chase my show tank cichlids are ad eat at their fins. I read if they dont get feed enough the may do that. Which sometimes leads to the fish dieing. And i dont want fish in my show tank dieing.
I was just hoping someone may have experience with the goby. If so i would like to hear from you.

That is a pretty good price. They aren't really a rare fish in number, but they disappear often and can be hard to track down. We haven't had them in fro a good 6 months since our last shipment. I think we charged 4.99 a fish.

Okay cool. I either have to find a GCCA member who has them or buy them from tropiquatic at $5.35 i think.

In the shop they were in with some Krib types. I think they will do fine with most cichlids as long as the cichlids are similarly sized and not overly aggressive.
As far as living longer in brackish water, many of those species are transitional, meaning they can go between salinity differences as long as they aren't to sudden and adapt to them. I don't think it will be a problem.

Yeah i researched them alittle and they are sopost to be in brackish water. But they can live in chicago water it just they wont live as long as in brackish water from what i understand. Chicago water as long as it is hard water.
But i was thinking about getting some for my show tank. But i want to know if anyone has had them with cichlids before? And how it went.
Bt they are neat little guys, i think so. ;D

I've had them in the shop I work at a few times. I think they are cool. We never kept them in brackish water though. the ones we had always did fine in chiocago tap water and eating flakes and pellets. Pretty aggressive towards each other, but that is about it. They never killed each other, but there was an obvious hierarchy.
