Glenn-
48x24x30? That looks like the same as my 210 Bob now owns, with 2 less feet!
Sounds awesome! How do you like the depth?
Whats going in there? Gymnos?

Here's a new size for the list. I'm now the proud owner of a tank 48x24x30. The fishlore calculator says it is about 150 gallons. I would call that a 150 high.

For tank gallonage, multiply the inside dimensions of the tank in inches, then divide by 231.
For those interested in building your own tank, GARF has a really great calculator on their site that does all the math for you.
Go to http://www.garf.org/ and click on the DIY section.

you could also divide the liters by 3.8. i usually divide in my head by 4 to give me a rough guestimate.

convert gallons to liters.
gallon size x 3.8 = liters
this could be useful for certain dosing that lists sizes in liters or on other forums there liters are discussed.

For standard/non-standard dimensions you could always try this calculator:
http://www.fishlore.com/ConversionCalculator.htm
I have found it helpful.

Yes I had looked around online and found the 7ft version around but I know that there are several versions of that tank.
