Satellite Breeding Box anyone have experience with these?

There appears to be few posts on the internet about the socal people using them for shrimp breeder, traps.

If I can use them for small fry (Occies, Caudopuntus) and not deal with daily or bi-daily water changes, it would be a major score for myself.

Placed an order for a Medium and Large one.

Never used one before. I like the idea though. They look pretty easy to make.

Clear hang on box that overflows, powered by a sponge filter.

I got a few of these when they were on sale.  they'll lift water about 3/4" max.  just enough to get over the side I think.

If I can find a simple hang on box I can probably make something decent.  maybe the shell of an old aquaclear power filter.

I've never seen them before, although I use something similar made by a club member here quite often.

I stumbled across these on the internet and thought they might be good for keeping fry in, with continous water changes.

Anyone ever use or come across these?
