I went with the AV150 from Jehmco first, and made my own PVC and Outlets.
I ended up selling the AV150 and went with the LPH80, much quieter.
John is quite invaluable!

Call John at Jehmco.com
Phone number is one the website. Is he more than others? Perhaps, perhaps not. His expertise is worthwhile and invaluable. The Prefabricated manifolds are the best.

Hi bloonguy-
I have some of the same questions. I would love to go to one pump, but I also need to balance initial cash outlay with long term potential energy savings along with long term pump quality. It's very confusing to this non technical mope.

I'm thinking of going to a central air pump because the fishroom keeps expanding and I'm running out of outlets.
Is there a general rule of thumb as to how many liters/min you need to drive a large sponge filter?
Trying to determine how big of a pump I need.
Has anyone had any experience with any of the linear piston pumps that I see a lot on Ebay(ActiveAqua, Medo, etc)? They seem to have the capacity but I'm wondering about durability.
Thanks for any help you can provide!
