anyone know where i can get some seal gasket for eheim pro 3 2080?

Do NOT use vaseline or any other petroleum based lubricant.  These will actually dry out the seals over time and cause them to shrink and then fail.

Eheim provides a lubricant with the filters when you by them and you should be able to find other non-petruliem based lubricants if you run out of the Eheim stuff.

thank for the reply ..i was able to click on the product now but not last night....anyway i was never got any luck with eheim , my 2028 was leak at the head , got that fix a while ago , hope doesn't leak again and now my 2080 ...wtf ..never go with eheim again , alot of $$ and a piece of crap

Knock on wood, I have had nothing but good luck with Eheim....I have had 2028, 2026, 2217, & 2213, as well as the Surface Skimmer and their HOB's.

Humidity, that did give me a early morning laugh tho.....

I love Eheim products, but like any line you have to know the pros and cons.  A batch of bad feeders went through U.S. market about a year ago.  I'd gess I had 6-8 that were junk and had to be exchanged.  I had no problem getting a new acement feeder for the used bad ones though.

I will agree that after Eheim changed the sealing rings on the pro 2 and 3 a few years ago that the new ones are junk.  I end up switching them about every 8-12 months now.  I just make sure I have a few on hand at all times.  (Not unlike the old Mairineland Magnums which I would not even consider servicing unless I had EVERY sealing ring on hand! -the valves incluided)

Never, ever had good experiences with Eheim canisters.  That happended to me countless times, ordering, replacing gaskets time and time again. Water throughout the floor, draiing the tank down to the intake.  Always freaked out my kids who played in the ajoining playroom when they were little. 

After the XXth time, I once called Eheim customer service and was told that my basement may be too humid which wore the gaskets out quickly.

Huh?  I asked the young lady to repeat what she said and asked her if it made sense to her.

My fishroom does not have any eheim products anymore.

scotts pet shop in westchester carries some replacement seals they had seal for eheim 2028 not sure if the same but i remember the same seal  covered a lot of pumps
