Brine Shrimp have a lot of good proteins for young fry

I understand that they do those things, but you can cut up bloodworms too.  Fry will eat anything they can fit in their mouth.

Also they are alive so they live in the water column and swim around and not fall to the bottom and instantly foul the tank.

By adding some live bbs in the tank they swim around in the tank for a few hours, longer if there is a light source over the tank sisnce the shrimp head towards the light. Since the are living in the water column the fry can eat pretty much the whole day as long as the bbbs are still swimming in the Water column.

Show me a powdered food that floats in the watercolumn all day that isn't constantly blown around by a powerhead

They are cool, but those powdered foods have just as many vitamins as the Brine Shrimp.

They are small so they can be easily eaten by young fry. Also they are alive so they live in the water column and swim around and not fall to the bottom and instantly foul the tank.

Since they are swimming it makes the fry chase then and eat them.  Plus I like them because they are reddish in color and you can see that your small fry have eaten because you will see the stomachs color up red.
