if you build a 2x4 stand and can disassemble the composite then build the 2x4 stand and use the composite for the skin then

So I guess, I will have to find a real wood stand? Know of anyone selling one? I really wanted to just use this one, since I already have it and I got a good price on the setup. The lady I bought it from said she had a full tank setup on it. I didn't get to see it, since it was already taken down.

I am like Kegger. I "know" the composite will hold it. That stuff is strong. But I am just a fan of real wood (insert joke here). I would either buy a new one of actual wood, or make one. A new one is probably around $175. Or if it's not for show, one can be built for about $40 worth of 2x4's and screws.

So I should just put some 2x4's inside, won't it make it weaker if I drill into the composite? or am I building a frame and than putting the 2x4's ? Might as well make a new stand than, right? So does that mean that composite stands are not good at all? Or they are good if bought new?

to be honest I wouldn't trust any of my 125's on composite
after looking at the pics I still trust my gut instincts
yes I would be shoring it up, if you are going to be using it for show them as long as you're shoring it up I would just get some oak or birch plywood and redo the skin also, only a few bucks more but will look better when done

How do I post pics on this forum so that I can show you guys how the stand looks? And so you guys can confirm if I need to support the stand with installing 2x4's or not.
