Stop feeding the goldfish as they are infamous for getting fish sick.

I would recommend going with one the better brand fish foods - New Life Spectrum or Xtreme.

A Pig and a Chicken are walking down the road. The Chicken says, "Pig, I was thinking we should open a restaurant!". Pig replies, "What would we call it?". The Chicken responds, "How about ham-n-eggs?" The Pig thinks for a moment and says, No thanks. I'd...

I keep the 55 pretty clean, I feed a variety of commercially available pelleted food, and a few feeder goldfish now and then. After giving the Maracyn 2 ten days to work, I've gone back to water changes to get the old med out. I will research the pea idea, I even tried making him a harness w/ flotation. He is just to powerful and slippery to keep anything makeshift on. He is so miserable.

First I would continue to do large water changes, especially now that you have med's in the tank.

What are you feeding the fish?

I have heard of people trying peas to help swim bladder issues

I have a large Flowerhorn that started standing on his head and floundering upside down about six weeks ago. I treated with Metrodianzole for 7 days, and then Marcyn 2 for 7 days, Neither seemed to make any difference.
Spooky is miserable, Is there anything else I should do? Before I started any meds. I took the tank completely down, and reset it with clean everything. Thanks! David C. Carpentersville,IL
