The cut in the PVC was just to make PVC flush with the floor drain where it t's in.

The only place where the drain comes above ground is under the stands

I am trying to understand what the cut in the PVC is for? You may, depending where the PVC exits the floor, want to consider placing an obstacle (I used an old milk crate) over the pvc drain to avoid tripping / kicking it.

GET SOME AIR HANDLING EQUIPMENT ASAP. Installing an air exchanger is easy now - and a paid when the room is full of tanks.

All,
I have a relatively small setup - but never really liked my fishroom.

It was ugly and not very functional

So I embarked on a one week project (while the wife & daughter were in florida) to convert over to a new rack system and automate water changes and enhance the look and feel.

Four months later and I have half the tanks converted and will convert the next half this weekend.

So I thought it was time to start sharing some pictures -

Here is the old fish rack -

Part of the new rack

The trench for the drain, which I have to note a really nice thanks to Mario for helping with or really doing

The trench after being closed up

More pictures to come along with a video of the finished product
