you could go saturday get one tank, and go sunday again before the meeting. just make sure you drag the wife with each trip or a kid who you can give the cash to.

HOB - it simply says when you exchange your old filter for the same size. aquarium adventure will determine comparable size. I dont think there will be a testing tank there to see if the filters work, and only while supplies last.

i just forwarded the info from an email i got from my planted tank email group. i'm looking forward to the plants at 50% off. to bad i have to be Chicago heights at 11:00 AM Saturday to get the taxes done, then a 3:00 pm appointment in naperville for the wedding album finalizing, and then Wicked in Chicago at 8:00 PM.

Being a skeptic, the ad re: HOB's is qualified "while supplies last." Not much consumer opportunity (or cost to AA) if supply is only X amount on Saturday morning.
I am a big AA fan when it comes to rock and gravel - they have some unique stuff - not cheap.

Do the old HOB filters have to work? I have a couple of lousy ones and one with a cracked inlet pipe. It seems kind if crazy to trade in junk for good merchandise. Have they done this sort of thing before?
I think I'm "hooked" :in and will check this out.
