no, that one male still hasn't colored up, have another male in there that isn't as big but he's more of the dominate one right now and he still won't mess with my 9" queen in there, she can really be a pain sometimes, thats why when I saw this big critter I'd figure he just may be able to take care of business with her instead of her interupting anything else that wishes to go on in the tank, as for the basement, no, not done yet, got most of the drywall up except for the walls where the bath is gonna go and finishing the mudding hopefully this weekend so I can move some things around down there so I can get to and start the plumbing, buckets are gettin heavier by the day it seems :-[
Nice job Kegger ;D I seen the same tiger...beautiful fish!!! Do not have a hospital tank setup so didn't bother trying to get him. He should go great with your ladies. Did the male that you already have color up anymore? By the way this is Scott...bought a couple Ngara's and a Taiwan from you a couple months ago. Did you get the basement all finished?
was just gonna say the same thing, found one huge tangerine tiger though and brought it to their attention and had a quarentine tank ready anyway so I asked what they would sell it for with the ick if I dealt with it instead of them, walked out of their with it for a bit less than wholesale, have him in the treatment tank right now and overnight he looks great, gonna keep him in their for a few more treatments though before he gets to meet his new girlfriends though, don't want any of those transmitted diseases ya know
Just wanted to warn anyone going to the Bolingbrook store for Africans. Personnally I think they have a pretty good stock list most of the time but noticed when I was in there a couple days ago scoping it out a lot of the African tanks had Ick :'(. They have had this ongoing since they opened. Talked to one of the guys there and they are trying to get a hold on it. I live basically 5 minutes away so usually stop by just to see what they have. Just thought I would forewarn everyone incase that is the only reason they are going for. I have never noticed a problem with any of the fish from the Hoffman Estates store. They are way overpriced on a lot of their fish but the 50% really helps that.
