I can't believe it's already October, but I'm kind of excited about meeting next week.
It seems like forever since we had last meeting.
Summer was productive and I got few BAP bags for next Sunday:
1. Etroplus maculatus is one of 3 cichlid species from Asia. These are from wild group that Rick brought from Wet Spot few years back. He also wrote article on them for the "Fish of the month". I'm using Rick's picture with his permission.
2. Lake Malawi Peacock Aulonocara sp. "Yellow Collar"
3. Apistogramma panduro
4. It took me almost 3 years to breed these guys. I got them as a fry on one of ours rare fish auctions, I did try all kind of tricks and move them thru lots of tanks, and finally they spawn for me this summer.
Astatheros robertsoni - here is the pictures of my dominate male and pair with fry:
5. We all know there is a 5 described species of Julidochromis: marlieri, transcriptus, regni, ornatus and dickfeldi
Over the years I bred first four, and now to close the circle, I'm bringing bag of my favorites Julidochromis dickfeldi Moliro
6.Lamprologus speciosus " Black Ocellatus"
7. and for my bag No. 7, which is also my No. 100 spawn lifetime
SOMEBODY CALL MIKE HELFORD
Enantiopus sp. "kilesa" Kavala
See you Sunday
