Breeders are in RO water pH around 5.5 to 6. Fry is in regular Chicago water.
You can keep them in regular water, but if you want to breed them, you need soft water with low pH otherwise eggs won't hatch.

So I say to her……There is plenty of stuff at the house for the baby to eat!!!! I REALLY need this fish……

It's been a very busy summer, and not much going on in fish room. All I have is a spawn of Apistogramma macmasteri, F1 from wild caught parents,

So I say to her……There is plenty of stuff at the house for the baby to eat!!!! I REALLY need this fish……

I'll be bringing Ramphochromis macropthalmus for BAP, and several donations...

- Pundamilia sp. hippo point blue bar (young adults)
- Copadichromis cyanocephalus (4 juvies)
- Protomelas labridens (4 juvies)
- Astatotilapia (or Haplochromis) cf. thickskin (Matt - these are the erstwhile crimson tides - did you get my email?)
and possibly some Protomelas annectens
