Potential list of fish for the GCCA Classic Silent Auction

7 years 1 month ago #35782 by drwho0731
Ok. I admit I missed the apistos. But still no Geophagus many of which are hard to come by. I usually like to participate in silent auction but this one does not have anything that would appeal to me yet. As to the fish in the silent auction being rare a lot of those species are available at your local Petsmart, not that rare to me.

Hmm lets see first there are only about 120 central americans compared to a population of 3000 cichlids.

Second many of them are readily available.

Third if were to try to bring in any central cichlids they would probably be a duplicate of one our vendors list of fish he has at many swaps, we have limited sources of suppliers.

Newworld if we can count on you to donate some young centrals PM me and we can get them added.

Also I said the list was not finalized I expect a couple of other items to be donated from members.

I thought it was cool that we got madagascars, vicitorians, tangs, malawi and apistos. (only got lucky that our suppllier had these.)

A Pig and a Chicken are walking down the road. The Chicken says, "Pig, I was thinking we should open a restaurant!". Pig replies, "What would we call it?". The Chicken responds, "How about ham-n-eggs?" The Pig thinks for a moment and says, No thanks. I'd be committed, but you'd only be involved.
