Like....

Maybe people who are into American cichlids would go and buy them if we knew what they were selling

Are you looking to be involved or commited
A Pig and a Chicken are walking down the road. The Chicken says, "Pig, I was thinking we should open a restaurant!". Pig replies, "What would we call it?". The Chicken responds, "How about ham-n-eggs?" The Pig thinks for a moment and says, No thanks. I'd be committed, but you'd only be involved.

What American cichlids were sold at the silent auction?

I've personally not seen a convict at any of the swaps I've been to in the last two years. The larger americans are typically pre order only due to the size and the trouble. I've always found a decent variety of some of the cryptoheros type and smaller.

There was an outcry for variety of americans in the silent auction yet the ones that were in it yesterday had little interest and most were stolen.

Thank you to all of the hardwork that the guys organizing yesterday's speakers and silent auction did, was fun and interesting.

Central/South America cichlids get no love. I've been going to the swaps for a couple of years and every time there is less of them. If there are it's convicts which we all know are a dime a dozen. It's starting to sway me in not attending the swaps.

Does anyone if the larger fish in the showroom Saturday will be for sale? Like the green terror, bocourti, bredohri and polleni?

Those Satanoperca are really tempting. I am really regretting not being able to go now!

Folks go crazy for the media luna, meh in my opinion. Bartoni are a lot cooler. The labridens are rarer than an honest fish seller - I will give them that.

All you central guys - get the umbies. Buy as many as you can. Not that common and by far the coolest fish I have ever owned. A 8" male would move 6" pvc elbows around the 125 in which he lived. Massively powerful, easy to breed and great parents.
