Lots of fresh water and lots of scrubbing. When you think your done, rinse and scrub some more.

Thank you for the reply, so should I scrub the insecticide with just water and a new sponge? Then rinse alot?

i would say, when you think you have rinsed it enough, rinse it one more time. yes vinegar will work to clean the glass. i would start out with a few fish that im not too fond of when you get it running.

Hello, Im a new member, I have a question regarding a tank im setting up. I have a 75 gallon Im setting up, it had pesticide spilled in it. i disposed of the gravel however the under gravel filter and bottom of tank have residue in it. How do i clean that off? I also read you can use vinegar to remove hard water stains. i guess just rinse well??? thanks for any help, i want to get this tank going
