Cyps

The breeder's name is Robert Stevens. He said he used to bring fish to the swap meets all the time, but hasn't been there lately. His website hasn't been updated since 3/11...so a lot of the prices (and availability) have changed. It's best to call (1-248-478-0542) or e-mail him (Bobcheryl@aol.com) for prices.

Sounds reasonable depending on species and location.

I found them for: 3 for $20 @ 1".  Breeder sized pairs ranged from $20 up to $50 per pair. This breeder had over a dozen different types to choose from!

My groups are 3 and 6. That's all I could afford.

I had groups of 10 and 12 work well.  I would imagine more than that would also work well.

I've had cyps do best in larger groups.  I've also heard that you should have at least two males to get them to breed.  I think that in general they are pretty good at holding too.  I just stuck the female in a maternity tank and let her spit.
