Tori is also "anti fish babies".  Anything that breeds in any of her tanks is merely a clean food source.  No worries there!  LOL  :D

hybridization - trophs can cross.

Slover- What tropheus have you kept that have crossed?  Perhaps you can expand on your experiences.

...Perhaps a more substantive response may be useful.

Not all tropheus will cross.  Avoid keeping similar types such as sp. reds w/ reds, brichardis with brichardis, moori w/moori, etc... AND sp. reds with anything that looks similar to the particular type that you are keeping.

Keep an eye on your fish and simply be aware of who is hanging out where.  Many, many tropheus keepers keep multiple variants together.  Often it may not be easy to obtain the a large number of a single variant that is the ideal for dispersing tropheus aggression.. so keeping multiple variants makes for an excellent way to disperse aggression.

What size tank will you be keeping them in?

Good luck!

Ok, after much impatient waiting I am finally getting my tropheus group.

A lovely group of 12 Illangi and also 4 or 6 Moliros. I'm sure I'm going to get yelled at (Come on Ray) for putting two different types together, but they are all coming at the same time so hopefully minimal battling will ensue.

Opinions?  (wincing, bracing myself)
