so i just finished separating the male tropheops into a separate net breeder like i had mentioned earlier and everything is great now. the male ATR has his full color and even showing off to the female. i guess hes the big boss now. lol

gotta love those cichlids!

tropheops are really agressive I would suggest you keep them separately...Plus they have different diets...But thats up to your just my 2 cents

what im thinking of doing is putting the male tropheops in a separate/semi-large net breeder for now. these guys breed like crazy and i kinda want to give my females a rest...they all never really recover 100% from holding between batches. we'll see if my ATR male gets a little bit more confidence. :)

Albinos are generally a little more passive than their normal brethren. they also grow a little slower and are a little more prone to disease and infection. Part of being an albino I guess. If you can I would separate them.
