:cheer: my one female released about 10 fry should i remove her or leave her in thier with her fry? they are in a 10 gal. tank. she was holding for about 26 days.

The females sound like they are doing a good job holding, which was my experience when I bred them.

However when the females does decide to spit the fry, will become a quick meal for the rest of the fish in the tank.

So you can either put the female in a breeder box, smaller tank, or strip the female if you want to raise the fry.

I would try to wait till she has been holding 16 days or so if this is your first time stripping females.

do you have to strip the fry or will the fry do fine by themself?
my one tank has 5-aulonocara maleri and 3-otopharynx lithobates 1-holding about 15days my other tank has 4-otopharynx lithobates 1-holding i think about 7days
