Aaron, thanks, I've got a pair of convicts pumping out feeders and grow-outs that are working.  I'll be getting another convict pair this weekend so I should be good on the dither front.  And a naturally occuring one as well.

Metriaclima zebra - any type, or any of the other robust mbuna.

Or, convicts.  Big convicts.

I like the convict idea - I might look for some.  Thanks

Yellow Labs have worked for BottomFeeders, I have seen it work, Fantastic Looking Tank, tho when I tried it a few years ago, I had to remove one from my Cuban's Gullet. For the veija it should work. Short of that SD's are awesome, and when you get tired of them, I will grab them! My SD's are about 5-6 years old and have survived a female dovii on eggs!

A second thought is Wilpir has a nice Striped Raph he is trying to move, nothing can harm them, my dovii girl used to pick mine up and move him across the tank, I still have his today as well.

May sound very strange, but what about livebearers?

That's what I'm looking for, something that could hold their own.

I know that wouldn't happen in any of my tanks, the central's wouldn't survive the punishment they would get

I certainly wouldn't recommend any Old World species to go with any New World species.
