My 65 Gallon Tank! What do you think? What else could I do to it? More fish?

Rock is personal opinion. I'm going back and forth on that right now. I love the new look of my tank, but I took out a good 50 lbs of rock and eliminated a lot of caves and so forth. Hoping to bring my fish out of hiding some. It seems to have helped so far. I would drop the pleco for sure, I would consider pulling the Johanni and the Hongi. Add to the other three species. Oh and that Giraffe probably won't be to happy for long in that tank. As it stands you will have some cross breeding going on.

what are the dimensions?

36 wide, 18 deep and 25 tall

i know..  it's not that long..  but that's all i can fit in our condo    (read: largest without getting divorced).

and i feel the deeper version (18 vs the 12's) is the best for when these beasts get larger..  so they can easily turn around.  i could've gotten the standard 55..  but i really liked this tank and it fit just right in our condo as well.

eventually (when we get a house) i'll probably get a 200+ gallon.  but for now i'm very happy with this tank.

should i build up the rocks higher?

Looks high and not very long. Looks like a great Discus tank. I would add a lot more rock work. I would also look at knocking two type of cichlids out of there and adding more females of those species. I think 3 species would be good for that tank. If its 4 ft. long.
