Cichla monoculus

They are taking some frozen krill but didn't like cichlid sticks very much. I read where they take well to frozen bloodworms as well.

I have them in their own tank, quite large, a 135g for their size. They school and hang at the surface of the water. I've never kept these but they are kind of fun - they just stare at you waiting for food and then hit it like a .... a bass!

Thanks! 4 inches. $20/fish with membership discount at Hoffman Aquarium Adventure. I left three of them there.

Very nice, I also picked up two of them. I got mine from animal island. Where did yours come from?
