I agree they won't work. Small fish would be ok, but in the long term you're asking for trouble.

Jack, I strongly disagree. I've owned Kenyi and Auratus. They will decimate the peacocks. I had to remove a single Kenyi from a 6' 125 gallon tank that had upwards of 40 mbuna and hardier tilapia type because he was wrecking everyone.

Won't work.

They'll work now, but that is probably a temporary thing. Once those mbuna get bigger they will pick on the peacocks. Acei would probably be fine with peacocks on a more long term basis, but in a 4 foot tank you are probably asking for trouble.

Hi Cristine and welcome to the forum. The Auratus and Kenyi are at the very upper end of aggression when it come to mbuna. Peacocks will get absolutely shredded by them. As it stands now, the low number of mbuna you have is going to result in them whittling themselves down to just one. And that will almost assuredly be an Auratus.

My suggestion. Add many more Kenyi and Auratus, or pitch them and go with peacocks.
