Here's a clip of my amphilophus citrinellus. He truly is a wet pet. Besides an Oscar.... do you guys have any other fish in mind that is a wet pet? This guy is fearless of people and I catch him looking at the TV on occasion. He watches TV too! He looks out the corner of the tank and stares at the TV. Maybe he thinks they're real and maybe he can catch their eye to throw in some groceries. He lets me pet him before feeding. something I'm training him to do with out getting too aggressive. and going for the hand. Now 12 inches or so.
