Thanks, I'll get some updated ones in the next few days.  The red/orange is much more pronounced.

I isolated a pair with a third wheel male in a 125g, and the pair have spawned.  But the breeding male looks a little distracted by the other male, who is a bit larger and challenges the dominance of the breeding male.  The female senses weakness of her partner and pops him in the snout when she sees him backing off of the competing male.  Its possible this guy may be a bit too distracted to have fertilized the eggs but when I remove other tankmates, the breeding male puts a bad beating on her.  In breeding dress, they look fabulous - need to get some pics.

I pulled a pair that seem to be getting along and placed them within their own 75g.  Here are a couple of pics:

Not yet.  I had to move a few out - there is some territory disputes happening and a lot of substrate digging, and two smaller hogs are losers, can't find space other than the corner of the tank.  I moved them to another tank and are now doing fine.  So hopefully the remaining six get things sorted out and a pair starts breeding.

Group is really growing out, I moved them to their own 125g.  The largest is now over 6 inches.

I agree with everything Scott has said about the Hogs. The only time I see my female aggressive is when spawning or guarding fry. I'm hoping my 5 incher is a male, not sure yet, cause Rapps sold his last pair a week b4 I placed my order. lol Which I was going to buy.

Thanks - yes, I like the look as well.  Yes, 8 in a 75g for now - I'll thin out the number of fish as they grow out or if a pair forms.  The largest is prob 5" but they are about 4" on average.  The aggression is very similar to lyonsi - they will charge and chase at each other but rarely nip.  A couple have some "facial lacerations" but that may be from swimming into things during the charge and chase.  This is the first I've kept them, so maybe this level of aggression will change when they grow out more.
