Can you explain "Back Tailed" and did you (I am assuming no way) any xanthic? I am 99.99999 sure they would never survive in the wild.

Yes they were the only fish I brought back from xiloa, I also caught nicaraguense, managuense, convicts (which I should of brought back but couldn't sex females and males looked the same which was strange), longimanus and neets....also I saw some back tailed amphilophus in the schools, maybe 2 out of 200 amphilophus

still guessing amarillos i have 4 at 3.5 inches and 2 at 2.5 maybe 2 pairs? the body shape and color is right so far....when i had amarillos before they looked similar than again what citrinellus complex doesn't....

Ill try to take a shot of mine, he is in that range - very amarillo like in color, but much darker black and instead of the light yellow, there is a grey contrast to the stripes with blue sheen.

No pictures of them small, they were a little over 3" when I bought them.I have pics and a video of some of their fry but at 1" they will be too small for you to tell.They are growing very fast so give me a couple weeks and I will post some updated pics
