So far, they all seem pretty responsive to me, consistently begging for food.  I think a nice male would fit what you are looking to do.  Check out post # 24 of this thread - this is what you could expect:

You should come by and pick one out.

Scott-

How human interactive are they? (Personality wise) Like a Midas? Like a Jag? or like a Freddie?

Looking for another personable show single, (1 to grow into). Now that Mango Jr (Honduran Jag Male from Mojo) will be running solo in the 75 (up from the 10).

Here are a couple of update pics.  Still have all ten, I really have not had much problem with these guys (knock on wood).  I have them with some similar sized carpintis "Vontahillo", they are now about 4+ inches in length.  This is the "Rio Baluarte" strain.

That's going to be a project for next year. I think we're just gonna take a day trip and see if we can catch any.

I have a confession. I'm a cichlaholic.

I think Gene Longino has kept them, but you might also ask Ric Perez. Cool fish and good luck with it.

They always seemed to spawn for me on human holidays, bet if you put them together just before Memorial day, and do a massive water change, lust will fill the air.

They are doing well but are not feeling the love - no eggs.  But they'll be here whenever you are ready.

Not ready for the haits yet, not enough tank space set up. Scott needs to spawn them first anyway.
Hoping to get a 75 set up next week sometime. Found a stand for it in the classifieds, going to pick up in Kenosha tomorrow evening.
And after a Midnight showing of the Big Lewbowski tomorrow at the Rosebud cinema, with $3.50 caucasians, the Dude will Abide.
